Pele Report for February 13, 2019 - New Paradigm Astrology

Hola Weightlifters!

Haha! This could be a heavy week in a heavy year! Hope you got your spiritual muscles in shape. I actually got all nervous with today's Pele Report thinking "Just who am I to say?". And that is exactly the question that may be appearing in many minds (and in many news reports) as Venus transits Capricorn and conjuncts with Saturn. How are we handling our authority? With the full Moon coming up in Virgo, not only self scrutiny will take the stage but public scrutiny of those who dare to speak.

In this case, Lilith conjunct the Sun can be a double edged sword that can strike in the name of integrity or of a subconscious need for revenge, power or control. We decide. That sword can be directed inwardly to remove self deception or outwardly to destroy what we perceive as a threat to our existing core beliefs. I think this is all in the name of Jupiter at home in Sag seeking to expand our understanding of truth. But it is challenge no doubt, eh? May make us want to "duck and cover!"

All I can say is "Thank god/dess for astrology!". The stars are so helpful when it comes to navigating the tricky recesses of our ego and Spirit Self. That's what is driving us at NPA to bring it to more and more of you. Besides just the Pele Report describing what is going on in the collective unconscious, when you know your chart you gain 1000 times the understanding of what it all means to your personal evolutionary journey. With liberation there comes responsibility lest freedom becomes mere license. What can I say? Unevolved Mars conjunct Uranus can be rebellion for rebellion's sake, simply being the ego refusing to submit to the laws of love. Or, as I mention in the report, it can strive for the highest expression of penetrating and acting from an awakened state of consciousness. Now, Mercury/Neptune and Venus/Saturn are following up to check and see just where in that spectrum we are.

The big question of 2019 is: Are we lying to ourselves and others? Are we pretending to be something or someone we're not, in order to get something? Especially with this new Moon in Aquarius, when we step outside and witness ourselves and our lives, we may find some old fears and insecurities still dictating our behavior.

Alas, what are we to do? The trick during this full Moon, and I believe the rest of the year, is to keep trying. Keep plugging away and "shooting those hoops" in the hope of making a swish! Not give up playing the game if the basket isn't made after who knows how many tries. Thus, having some patience and compassion for ourselves will also help us give others some slack in their game. Remember: "It's not whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game!"
