Hola Familia!

Say goodbye to 2018! For better or worse- it was what it was, eh? And sure as time marches on, life is not over and there is more that lies in store for sure. This week, with the Sun approaching Saturn, is a good time for some deep reflection on where you are, where you've been, and where you're going. That coupled with Mars conjuncting Chiron points to a time of getting our ship back on track.

This can be a time of feeling blocked, not strong enough, or of not having what it takes to accomplish the goals we have set out for ourselves. I was thinking that it is like building a house. You have this big project all laid out (your life path) and you get it all started, but then run into some problems with the electrical. Oops! These problems could get you down, and if you just focus on the electrical you may think/feel that the house will never get done. Alas, you got to set back a bit and reconfigure some things, but it's important not to lose sight of the whole project. In fact, you may make some improvements since you are having to redo and re-examine all the wiring! Everything is purposeful.

Congratulations! You made it through Christmas! What a crazy time of year! Especially now with Saturn, Pluto, Lilith, and the south node of the Moon all in Capricorn. After I shot this Pele Report, I head out to Table Rock, a 2-mile, rather treacherous hike. I didn't get back until after dark (which was not easy), but it was a wonderful contemplative hike through some beautiful mountains (as you can see at the end of the report).

Anyway, so many thoughts and feelings arose on that hike, it would be impossible to write them all out. But one, so appropriate for these days, was the feeling of simply not knowing what you are capable of doing (or not) until you try. You can hurt yourself, fall, fail, make mistakes, be late, be called irresponsible, this or that, not know if you are going to make it and more. Doubts and fears arise: "What if somebody breaks into the car and steals my guitar while I'm out here? What if it gets towed away? One twisted ankle and I'm done, one fall ...What if somebody jumps me and takes my stuff...NO PELE REPORT! lol"

The thing is, that despite everything that comes up you just keep putting one foot in front of the other and there is something deep down that keeps you doing that. That something is intention combined with will. And life may be throwing some stuff at us this next year where the more intention and will we have the more we will stay in motion. Commitment is born from intention/will and brings results. May you commit yourself to the greatest good and realize great results/returns!
