Happy Solstice!
Both the Sun and Mercury have now moved into Cancer to be joined by the Moon this Friday! That's a lot of
water! After the Pele Report, I got to thinking a little more about these aspects which will be intensifying over the next couple weeks. So just what is the rub between Sun/Mars in Cancer squaring Jupiter in Libra, and opposing Pluto in Capricorn? Well, the thing about Cancer is that she seeks safety and security, so deep emotional bonding can occur. Jupiter in Libra is calling her out to the party and Pluto in Capricorn is demanding that she
go!
This kind of scenario can bring to the surface our intense longing for love and connection and an opportunity to see all the insecurities that are preventing that from being realized. We may find ourselves wanting to share but being afraid to open, intensely desiring to be loved but afraid of being vulnerable. Wanting to be taken away on the magic carpet of love but being afraid to fly. This can
make for some awkward, yet revealing, conversations and predicaments. The evolutionary possibility here is to truly assess just which relationships nourish us and help us to feel both secure and safe, and which ones threaten us, causing us to emotionally shut down and close up. The gift lies honestly seeing where and with whom we want to be spending more time, energy and attention. Which relationships will bear more juicy fruit for us in the future and which will
cause us to dry up and wither!
When I'm in my center, my innermost core, Completely relaxed, needing no more, I connect with the Mother who gave birth to it
all, As in the silence I hear her call.
This can be an emotional week! Just when the boat gets balanced, here comes another wave! Of course, after the report, I think of all the things I didn't say. I got into what things may look like a little bit, but some other manifestations may be the blues.
You may remember how many "homes" you left behind, how many times you were left behind, the past may come up to haunt you a bit.
This, of course, is part of your emotions showing you your REAL self that isn't always convenient, obedient, or controlled. Take it as a month of feeling into who you really are instead of who others want you to be, or who you pretend to be, or even who YOU want to
be! The beautiful part about Cancer is that she shows us where we ARE, which is the best place to start without getting ahead of and fooling ourselves. Listening to the silence reveals the hidden truth. Injoy!
