Aloha!It's gettin' better all the time.......! With that last full Moon in Leo, I think we all got bumped up a notch. Time to lighten up, break a smile and face the future!
We're coming out of the budget process now.... listened to the Inauguration speech by Obama and then the State of State address here in California.... It's been a Capricorn January of getting grounded, balancing the books, and stabilizing ourselves again. That now being accomplished (hopefully!) we can lift our heads to look toward the horizon. We're headed for a party in Pisces this next month and into March, so get your costumes ready.

Astrology 201 for those that either took the first one or have a background in astrology. It will run from Friday, April 5, 9-11 am Pacific Time for 8 weeks. The nice thing is that it will be recorded and transcribed into writing, so if you can't make a class, you can watch it anytime! In this webinar we will put those pieces together into cohesive chart interpretations by exploring planetary aspects, age progression techniques, transits, patterns, and methods of interpretation. Written Astrology Forecast for February 2013 |
Life is a series of transitions. We grow from young to old, climb from bottom to top, and circle back again to start another round. This month, as the Sun moves through Aquarius into Pisces, it signals that we have made it over three quarters of the way around the track and are headed for yet another finish line. Since the solstice of December 21st and through much of this month of January, the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars have made their passage through Capricorn and now into Aquarius. This is a special time of the year.
It is a time when we have been reflecting on the gains and the losses, the spreadsheets of our lives so to speak, and looking at the balance that remains. Capricorn is the culmination, the "highpoint" of the cycle begun last March with Aries. This has been a sober month, with practical concerns for financial/physical security at the forefront. Whether we have succeeded in reaching or goals or fallen short, it has been a time of Life giving us solid evidence as to which path will prosper and which will lead us nowhere. The good news is that we can now make definite choices based not upon whimsical fantasy but upon objective reality.
And now we transition into Aquarius, the second from the last sign of the cycle. It is the transition from the earthly practicality of Capricorn to the watery realms of Pisces. It is time, in a way, to leave our losses or take our gains and begin again to look forward to the future. Whatever this last cycle was about, it has maxed out and is waning. We begin with a three-day workshop in Campeche and continue with journeys to the Maya Sacred sites of: Edzna, Uxmal, Ek Balam, Chichen Itza, Ik Kil, and Mayapan. Besides all the temples, we will visit the Cenotes which are natural wells that were sacred to the ancient Maya. Many of the sites in Yucatan are near cenotes or like Chichen Itza have cenotes within the site. This is where they believe the Lord Chaak, Lord of the Water, lives. Ik Kil is one of the most beautiful of all the cenotes and our trip will include a cenote swim! The water is clear and refreshing and needs to experienced.
