Hello New Paradigmers!
 

Alright, Everybody! We’ve got Venus passing over the Galactic center, squaring Neptune, and entering Capricorn this week! La Luna is waxing bigger, and Mercury is cruising to catch up to Mars. But the big news this week, and you probably feel it, is the Sun connecting up with Pluto to cross the threshold together into Aquarius. That’s really what this Pele Report and mantra are all about.

So what does that mean? More important, I think, is “How does that feel?” Of course, this will vary from individual to individual depending upon their Evolutionary Stage and natal birth chart. Despite us being unique individuals, just like when the temperature rises or falls, it rains or snows, we ALL feel it. And so it is with Pluto. We will all be feeling what could best be called a rise in the barometric pressure! Just a feeling like something is going to happen, but we don’t know what.

For some who are more directly affected, it can even be like your whole world is falling apart and that you have no control over what is going away or leaving your life. Kind of a helpless, vulnerable feeling of “What’s next?” As I discussed in the report, this is a good time to shed our old skins like snakes. It may feel funny coming off, and you may feel naked and exposed for a while, but you will come through (it’s really only a week from now until next Wednesday or so) clean, shiny, and look like new! It is like a rebirth where it could be a new you! So let it go!

I’m excited to be letting go and riding the winds over to Tulum next month to be the resident astrologer at the Nômade Hotel! I’ll be giving talks, doing live readings, and mingling with folks (maybe you?) on the beach. As I step into my power,

Transform and let go of my fear,

I will be challenged, supported or rejected,

By those I hold near and dear.

We can either fear or welcome the death/rebirth transformation symbolized by this week’s (exact on Saturday) Sun conjunct Pluto on the threshold of Aquarius. Are you ready to step into your power, be genuinely authentic, and deal with the consequences that will result? Let’s not forget that Aquarius liberates us from conventional norms, including judgments from external “authorities.”

A metaphor might be that you are climbing up a mountain (perhaps Mt. Everest?), and your backpack is just too big and heavy or maybe breaks a strap, and if you’re going to make it to the top, you have to leave it with all your stuff, behind. What are ya gonna do? You can’t take it with you! Gonna stay with your stuff or keep on truckin?

So this week offers us a chance to let go of whatever or whoever is not in alignment with our “future self.” This can feel like we’re “going it alone,” losing what we’ve built up to support us, and/or feel like we’re lightening our load, are freer than ever, and can now race to the top of our game!

I like Huey Lewis and the News’ song this week: The Power of Love. “Don’t need money, don’t take fame. Don’t need no credit card to ride this train. It’s strong, and it’s sudden, and it’s cruel sometimes. But it might just save your life. That’s the power of love (Spirit.)” Let’s ride that train!
