Hello New Paradigmers!
 

We have a powerful New Moon conjunct Pluto squaring the Moon’s nodes and Chiron today. This sets the tone for this month and indicates it is time to take charge, take responsibility, and lay down the law! We all exist within a container (body), within a container (family), within a container (race), within a container (nationality/religion/culture), within a container (country), within a container (planet earth/time/space/matter) wherein we are conditioned to act, believe, and behave according to certain external natural and manmade laws (Capricorn).

However, as discussed in this week’s Pele Report, WE ARE FREE even within all these containers! We are free and have total control over our thoughts (hopefully and with practice). We can also choose which feelings and emotions drive our choices, decisions, and actions. The opportunity we are given this month is to consciously decide to confront, manage, and master ourselves versus escape, avoid, and deny that we control our evolutionary process/life. By not making choices/decisions or taking actions, we hand over our power to external sources such as partners, bosses, family members, the government, or society at large.

If we are to heal the wounds of Chiron in Aries, the feeling of powerlessness and impotence, it is imperative that we step up to the plate, not be “pushed around,” but become proactive creators of our reality. Whoa! Some will see this month as oppressive, some as a challenge, and others as an opportunity. Which will it be for you? With Mercury joining the party, Mars up there is bound and determined to carve out the space to create, enjoy, and expand our sphere of activity to have a greater impact on our world. Let’s tap into that energy and make the change. The saying goes, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has!” Let’s do it!

Indeed, the aspects of this week, the new Moon/Pluto squaring the nodes/Chiron (Freedom and self-expression limited by external authorities), Mars trine Jupiter (Optimistic energy to DO IT!), and Venus/Ceres inconjunct Uranus (angst and nervous tension in relationships) point to a bit of tug of war between freedom and conforming. So, I feel the answer is to control ourselves, take responsibility, own our stuff, and nothing external will need to do it for us.

I’d like to hear how many of you can relate to what I discussed about crises. I know some crises cannot be avoided in life. Still, I like the idea that if we are doing our inner work and “dying” to our old selves and transforming our shadows, we are also reducing the number of external crises needed for our soul’s evolutionary growth.

It’s similar to saying that if you do your shadow work, you will project less of your shadow onto other people because you’re into seeing it and working on it yourself. So if we all do our inner work, there won’t be any further crises?! This also goes hand in hand with what JWG says: Pain is the result of resisting evolution. Hummmmm… Let’s have some gain without pain this year!
