Ho Ho Ho Merry Solstice!
 

I always do the Pele report, then come home and upload it, write the blurb below the video for YouTube (below the mantra here), and then come to write this newsletter. So perhaps some of what I refer to here is best understood after viewing the report.

I went on in the report about taking back our projections of our need for power, our anger, and our desire for control from the external world of governments, institutions, and religions. I then went on about Venus opposite Uranus, Lilith opposite Saturn, Pluto leaving Capricorn, and the Sun entering Capricorn as indicating a time to take back our authority, break free from the narrative, and go our own way.

What I did not perhaps stress enough is that I was speaking about an inner process more than a revolt or rebellion against external authority figures or institutions. Quite the contrary, my belief is that once we fully own our power, the anger towards external “monsters” diminishes, and as we see them as self-creations to help us wake up, in the end, we actually need to embrace them as part of ourselves in the grand scheme of creation. It is a hard pill for many to swallow, but let’s not forget that in order to “get outa here,” we have to love all there is here!

I’ll be doing a weekend online course on The Astrology of 2024 on January 13 and 14, so mark your calendar! I’ll post the link ASAP. In the meantime, and even as good preparation for that, you can still get your Astro-Bundle in time for Christmas.

Happy Solstice! As the Sun turns a corner, a new vista emerges. This is a time to decide on the best course of action to move forward and take it! The Moon waxing through Aries, Taurus, and Gemini to become full next Tuesday is helping fuel the fires of self-determination conjunct Chiron, the north node, and Eris today and tomorrow.

Today’s report was pretty feisty, and a few thoughts emerged on my hike home in the rain. The full Moon Sabian symbol of the car getting smashed by the train came to mind. It spoke of recklessness. This is one of the big clubs used to keep the population down. “Don’t be reckless now!” we may hear over and over. The constant repetition of our need for safety and security on the web, in the streets, and in our relationships can be overdone. What is reckless to one person is sport to another.

On the other hand, there is the danger of being reckless, extreme and overreacting, which can cause trauma to both ourselves and others. Let’s be clear that this is a direct result/reflection of how long and how deep we have suppressed our natural instincts. If you’ve been holding yourself back and feeling terribly ashamed or guilty for years, you may just explode (like the Palestinians). It’s best to do this with another who can help hold your explosion, possibly a professional. The good news is that these explosions will lessen over time the more you tune into yourself and be true.
