What I wanted to discuss on the Pele Report this week but didn’t get to are a couple more long-term outer planet transits that reflect deeper changes than the personal planets, which are more like “icing on the cake.” I have mentioned some of these before, but they are worth reviewing regularly. The first is Pluto in late Capricorn, squaring the Moon’s nodes. This transit, which was exact on July 29th, can be felt from July through November. It indicates an intense buildup of energy resulting from deep soul decisions that need to be made/taken now that will determine the future course of personal (and collective) evolution! We’re all getting backed into the corner until we summon up the inner strength to confront the forces within and without that have been blocking our path. Pluto often involves necessary confrontation.

Another long-range aspect is Uranus, who stationed retrograde in Taurus, only 5 degrees out of an exact trine to Pluto in Capricorn. These two outer planets move so slowly that this trine has been in effect since July and will continue through October. This aspect points to many opportunities for advancing ourselves through scientific and technological means to achieve a more comfortable, stable, and lucrative lifestyle. Whether you are a “digital nomad,” crypto trader, or online entrepreneur, the hi-tech boom is in full swing, and you will benefit by taking advantage of it. Uranus will retrograde and return for an even closer trine this time next year. Look to the late degrees of the earth signs in your chart to see where you can personally benefit from this energy!

Thirdly, we should not miss out on Jupiter stationing retrograde earlier this week, conjunct Uranus by less than 8 degrees. This is close enough to have a very positive impact, opening us up (perhaps through sudden, shocking means) to new avenues of self-expression, income, values, priorities, and talent. Take up a new job, hobby, pastime, or travel into the unknown (on any plane) for rich discoveries to enhance your life. Gamble, experiment, and trust that Gaia will support your search for the new “you.” Another way you may experience this transit is the sudden removal of limiting conditions, relationships, or situations so you can again move forward. Faith, hope, and fly by the seat of your pants to a new, enhanced version of yourself!

Let’s face it, we are all in need of healing because we have all been wounded/traumatized. This world is wild and crazy, with a collective and personal unconscious that creates havoc! Trauma, ruled in astrology primarily by Uranus, is the result of sudden, shocking events that we don’t have the ability to take. On the other hand, wounding, ruled by Chiron, can happen slowly and deeply and is the causal factor creating the pain body.

Virgo and the 6th house have to do with healing, which involves integrating our past experiences, feeling them, owning them, forgiving them, and hopefully penetrating down to their root causes so recovery can occur. It is a process that takes time, care, attention, space, peace, and surrender.

In yoga, Savasana, or corpse pose, is done for minutes after every kriya to allow the body to assimilate all that has been awakened through the exercises. Retreating from the mundane, ordinary, daily tasks and routines that cause so much stress and strain is a necessary part of the healing process. And that is what this waning Moon to the Sun/Mercury in Virgo inconjunct Chiron is all about. Let’s let go, folks, and allow it to happen!
