So, what’s this week all about? SELF-CARE! And for the next month too! I speak much about Mercury squaring the nodes as a skipped step in the report. But let’s put that together with the North Node (soul intention) in Taurus, the sign of self-sufficient survival on the physical plane. Then throw in Mars moving into Virgo next week, and we have many fingers pointing to this as a time to plan on health issues coming to the fore.

Besides the harmful and sometimes lethal injections going around that have compromised millions of people’s health, there are many factors, from GMOs to chemicals in food, toxins in the water, soil, and air, pharmaceuticals in most cabinets, and more that contribute to ill health. But I believe more than anything else it is lifestyle. A distance from nature, outdoor activity, hugging trees, and swimming in streams rather than staring at screens.

Mars moving into Virgo is an excellent time to ACTIVELY make sure your body is in tip-top shape, or as best as you can get it! What a great time to start a practice, build a practice, or get rid of unhealthy habits. Many signs, from the Sun in Cancer to Chiron in Aries and Saturn in Pisces, point out that if we are not proactive in maintaining our health, we’ll face a health crisis to remind us of its importance.

So let’s use that Mercury mind to schedule some good R&R and set aside time for the outdoors, good food, good company, and connection. In some countries, you may need a holiday after the 4th of July holiday! One way or another, take care and take some time to connect with Great Spirit above too!

Oh, My Goodness! I went through this whole report without commenting on Mars going into Virgo! As I have mentioned in previous reports, we’ve had a beautiful Venus/Mars conjunction going on for a month as they have been traveling together through Leo. This conjunction will be coming to a close as Venus slows down to retrograde and Mars moves on through Virgo.

As I did discuss in this report, the big emphasis is on Mercury this week, and Mars moving into Mercury-ruled Virgo only adds more weight to it. Mercury, our analytical, linear, and logical left brain, is like the captain of our egoic earthly body/ship that sets the course, connects us with others, and steers us through life.

Operating in the 3D along with Mars in Virgo, it’s time to look at our health, daily routines, and jobs and take steps to purify, correct, improve and align ourselves with our deeper soul intentions. As Mercury is in Leo, we need to do some creative thinking! We need to make new plans and meet up with some new friends. In doing so, we will discover new talents and capacities to carry us toward the north node in Taurus so we not only survive but thrive. Put on those thinking caps and go!
