If you haven’t fastened your seatbelt by now, you might want to soon! And by that, I mean be prepared for the unexpected, as eclipses are famous (or infamous) for bringing new, strange elements, people, or events into our lives. As I mention in the Pele Report, though, they actually work Far More on the collective, earthly, or at least local geographically than personally unless they are aspecting a natal planet or personal point in your chart. So check where 2º and 16º of Scorpio/Taurus fall in your chart.

How do we prepare for the unexpected? First, I suggest you remain as flexible as possible in your positions, assumptions, beliefs, aspirations, and relationships. Try not to dogmatically dig your heels in and resist/fight whatever is coming toward you but try your best to see what learning it may present to you. Secondly, I would do whatever spiritual practices you have that help you feel connected to Source, held by Source, and build faith that there is a Source/Creator! Breathwork, exercise, nature, and calming, healthy food are also helpful.

Then we look at where this eclipse is falling. It’s the Taurus/Scorpio axis. I particularly appreciate the Sabian symbol for the degree of the solar eclipse being “A house Raising.” I read the interpretation in the report, and you may wish to relisten to that portion of the report. It talks about getting along with and ENLISTING THE SUPPORT OF OTHERS. We gotta unite as a team here, folks! To stubbornly and arrogantly go our own way without seeking resolution to our problems (seeking escape) could backfire. Even if you are saying goodbye to someone, it will be good to enlist the support of others to help you make the break.

This is all about doing relationships differently than we have done in the past, and we can expect control and power issues to come up just like they are on the world stage. The macrocosm mirrors the microcosm. Perhaps the new and different way of conflict resolution is to create win-win situations as much as possible. Let’s also be aware that the entire world population is going through this period of increased intensity together, as that can also help us have compassion both for ourselves and other people.
