Life consists of a series of invitations from one level of understanding to the next. The unconscious soul always seeks to reveal itself to the ego consciousness, and when it does, we are initiated into deeper self-knowledge. As the Sabian symbol for this week states, when we resist the promptings of our soul they build up
until one day they burst forth as “accidents.” The planet Uranus, especially when connected to Mars, is known for these.
During such times it is helpful to retain the beginner’s mind and seek
answers in the unknown, the unfamiliar, and the novel pathways to pursue our life goals. I encourage you to not look at the surface of things and to not take the “obvious,” simple, or logical explanations for unexpected happenings in your life, but to rather sit, listen, meditate, and ask Spirit to reveal the deeper unconscious soul forces at work that are the root cause of the events in our lives. There is rich learning here. Even one small accident in your life can cause a
series of changes that open up new frontiers previously unseen or considered. Stay awake! I’m excited to be on my way to Damanhur, Italy, this weekend to experience the full Moon energy in that mountain temple. I will continue through Europe, offering workshops in Denmark, the Netherlands,

The thoughts I am thinking are the tools I will use,
To free my true identity. Physical therapy is the best example I can give of the energy from now through the full moon. Have you ever done physical therapy after an accident or operation? Let’s say with the Mars/Uranus last weekend, you got a physical “message” from the cosmos through your physical body. It might hurt, be sore, tight, or painful. The therapy is to do your exercises, stretch those muscles, and go through the pain to regain, strengthen, and get back in shape.
This Mars (muscles) square Saturn (constriction) needs will force to push through. You may have this same thing happening on the emotional, mental, or spiritual levels. The old you got blasted, or you got “upgraded” to a new, unfamiliar
reality (suddenly, as Uranus is involved). You may feel traumatized and victimized if you were not the originator of the change, feel the need for it, or want it. One way or the other, as the mantra says, it will be good to apply your willpower to discipline your mind during these next couple of weeks. Lastly, I suggest talking to your body and yourself. I know it’s a little weird, but it works! And speak to it, of course, and listen to the answers!
