There are so many afterthoughts that come to me after these Pele Reports sometimes a little newsletter is just not enough, LOL! One such thought is, humor me, what if Love is really all there is? Just like the Beatles song for this week, All You Need Is Love says! Imagine that we are born of love, die to love, and love is all there is in between. It is our master, our teacher, our lover, our friend but also our enemy, our pain, and our sorrow. It gives us all the money and power only to realize that without IT, we have nothing. It takes away everything we own to show us that IT is all we need. It speeds up our heartbeat and slows us down as our hearts work slower than our heads… It lays us up in the hospital, takes away our dearest, or leaves us empty until we find love for ourselves, in ourselves, and in our lives as they are not as we want them or ourselves to be.
For Love knows all, is all, gives and takes all, that we may know the spirit of love and become one with it with every fiber of our being in every moment of our lives.

During this holiday season, in particular, our family issues emerge, be they pleasant or not, present or past, spoken or unspoken, seen or unseen. It may be tempting to ignore, suppress, or numb ourselves out in any number of ways not to feel some of the feelings that come up. But as I mention in the Pele Report, love is a spectrum of feeling that in some ways expands in both directions simultaneously. Wishing to remain steady in the center of the spectrum may numb us not only to the painful but likewise to the joyous as they both are enhanced by our ability to allow our feelings to be felt, to exist without judgment, to be our teachers.

So during this week, I hope that we can all not only live with ourselves and accept ourselves but also deepen ourselves and our ability to feel, sympathize, and love our lives as they are and creation as it is, knowing it too, shall pass. Let’s make the most out of every moment of our lives by loving! Try to tell someone you love them every day (or more)! So be it, so it is, it is done.
